1. Why did we choose an RV when we decided to downsize?
Low investment and freed up money to help pay off debt.
2. Do you still have people over?
Yes we do. There isn’t a ton of room but we make it work. If we are doing something with a big group of people we usually have it at my sister in laws house, which is only about 10 minutes away.
3. How do you have “adult time” in a small space?
We co-sleep anyway, even in our old house. It hasn’t been a problem. We spend time together after the kids go to sleep. Of course there are times that are harder, such as when the kids don’t sleep well and stay up late.
4. What do we do for income?
My husband has a landscaping business. And we have dabbled in chartering our sailboat but chose not to. We just take our family and friends out for fun.
5. Do we ever dislike living in an RV?
We have always loved it and never regretted the decision.
6. Don’t you miss having stuff?
No. It felt so good to get rid of it all. I don’t miss anything.
7. What is the hardest part about living small?
Probably storage. You have to be careful about not buying much because there isn’t anywhere to put it.
8. Where do we live?
We currently live in a RV park in our home town. It’s very nice, on a golf course and all older people, so very quiet. We love it. Although we just got our own land and will be moving to it soon.
9. How old are we?
Most people can tell by our pictures that my husband and I are different ages. So to get that out of the way. I am 27 and my husband is 44. Yes, that’s 18 years.
